Suburban employs an innovative technique called "Damage Analysis." In order to write the most thorough estimate the first time, a skilled technician carefully disassembles the damaged areas of your vehicle. During this process, hidden damage is often discovered and inner structure repairs are determined. Proper disassembly and repair analysis is vital to your vehicle being repaired as quickly and safely as possible.
Now that a complete and thorough estimate is prepared, we expedite your parts order. We work with several local reliable vendors to assure that parts are correct and arrive quickly - in many cases, because of our partnerships, we can receive your parts within 24-36 hours of the initial order.
Once your parts arrive, our staff reviews the order to assure that all of your parts are correct and in good condition. Parts are expedited to your specific repair technician and matched to your vehicle.
Vehicles with frame damage begin in the structural repair department. A master technician uses a computerized measuring system to repair or replace damaged areas of your vehicle and return it to a safe, pre-accident condition. In all cases, we follow factory specifications for your specific model vehicle. This assures an accurate repair.
The body repair department replaces any damaged panels or parts, and completes repairs on any dents, scratches or minor repairs. Once these repairs are completed, a Quality Control checklist is completed by a master technician, to verify that repairs are 100% thorough and accurate. The vehicle is now ready for the paint department.
Proper preparation is a critical step in the repair process of a vehicle. All panels are prepared for paint, then primed and sealed to assure good adhesion of the refinish product. Suburban uses Sherwin-Williams refinish products; we mix and tint each color to your exact vehicle specifications. All vehicle paint colors have many variations, and our master refinishers prepare test spray-out panels to verify an exact factory paint match.

Once the proper formula is prepared, it is applied in our state-of-the-art down-draft paint booths. Suburban uses only the best equipment in the repair and refinish of your vehicle to assure a beautiful finished product.
Once painted, final moldings, parts, and detail pieces are put back onto your vehicle in the reassembly area. Gaps and fit are double-checked. All vehicle systems, such as air bags, batteries and engines, are checked for proper operation during this stage.
During the final stage of the repair process, the vehicle is thoroughly detailed and washed. It is during this process that the final Quality Checkpoint occurs. Our master technician again reviews the vehicle and assures that all repairs are completed and quality-checked.
